In March 2021, progressive black/death dealers Damim performed as part of Metal Injection's Slay at Home, ripping through a killer set that you can watch right here. If you were a fan of the band's performance, we've got good news—Damim's new album World Turned Hell is out on June 1 and we've got a video for the remixed version of "Decendant of Amalek," as performed at Slay at Home.
World Turned Hell will also feature two new songs—the title track and "To Catch a Falling Knife," plus the live performance.
"With its Slay At Home events, Metal Injection provided one of only a handful of beacons of optimism through the dehumanizing isolation that we experienced in lockdown," Damim said. "Damim were fortunate enough to be invited to put together studio session versions of two of our songs for the occasion. Maybe it’s the angst of the circumstances that came through and made those sessions special. Whatever the case, it is a testament to Metal Injection’s contribution to our global community that we decided to have 'Descendant of Amalek' remixed by Antti Uusimaki (producer of our The Difference Engine album) and mastered by Alan Douches to be included on our latest release World Turned Hell."
World Turned Hell is set for a June 1 release via Church Road Records.
