Have you guys heard of Taylor Swift? Seems like she's a real up and comer these days, and who knows; maybe she'll get even bigger now that Dragonforce covered her live!
Yes, Dragonforce teamed up with Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz during a November 5 show at MTelus in Montreal, Quebec for a power metal cover of Swift's "Wildest Dreams". The results are exactly what you think they are – a high-powered covered of a pop song by an artist that is utterly inescapable these days.
"Montréal, what a fantastic show," said Dragonforce guitarist Herman Li of the cover. "Thank you said Dragonforce guitarist Herman Li of the record for hopping on stage with us to sing our Taylor Swift Cover Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version) (DragonForce's Version) (Alissia's Version). See you soon! I am ready for Toronto now but will the chicken survive tonight?"
And don't worry! Dragonforce's cover of "Wildest Dreams" will be featured as a bonus track on their upcoming record Warp Speed Warriors, due out March 15.
