Last night was the first Saturday Night Live of 2019, and all things considered – there was more good than bad. The cold open actually had a premise, and wasn't just a rehash of the week's events with random celebrity cameos – and there were some sketches that I could memorable. Music-wise, Greta Van Fleet kicked off the year as being the first rock band to perform on the SNL stage since 2017.
