Metallica is now streaming their performance of "Whiskey In The Jar" filmed during their September 24 set at Louder Than Life. The band sounds great, and the little bass-and-drum jam before the full band comes in is pretty cool too! "Whiskey In The Jar" is an Irish traditional song that Metallica covered for their 1998 covers album Garage Inc.
Metallica is currently working on a new album, but don't expect to hear it anytime soon. Drummer Lars Ulrich said in a recent interview that there' "always new music coming," but noted "there's nothing cohesive. There's not a story. There's not really anything to back it up yet."
