Congressman Sneaks METALLICA Song References Into Ticket Resale Act Testimony

Clever? Not really, but it made a statement.

U.S. Congressman from New Jersey Bill Pascrell has been representing the Boss Act before congress, which The PRP reports "hopes to further regulate the U.S. primary and secondary ticket markets and the shady practices that continue to frustrate fans." In a portion of his testimony, Pascrell began sneaking in Metallica song references as parts of sentences, presumably as a shot at the band after it was recently uncovered that one of their representatives worked with Live Nation to resell tickets before they even went on sale in 2017.

A sampling of the puns include  “Unbeknownst to fans, apparently Ticketmaster and Live Nation were working with [Metallica’s] management to hold back 88,000 tickets, and post them directly on resale sites. That’s sad, but it is true,” Pascrell quipped. “Live Nation admitted to the scheme last week and about a dozen artists between 2016 and 2017 could still be doing the same.  This is wrong.”
