CANDLEMASS To Reunite With MESSIAH MARCOLIN On Vocals For One Show

Greece, you lucky bastards.

Messiah Marcolin

Candlemass is set to reunite with classic vocalist Messiah Marcolin for a one-off show at the Rock Hard Festival in Greece this September. Marcolin originally sang for Candlemass between 1986 and 1991, and then again between 2002 and 2006. Marcolin sang on four classic Candlemass records – Nightfall in 1987, Ancient Dreams in 1988, Tales of Creation in 1989, and Candlemass in 2005.

"Candlemass celebrate their 40 years in Greece with a one off, world exclusive show with Messiah Marcolin on vocals!!!" wrote Rock Hard Festival organizers in the announcement.

"All this at the Rock Hard Festival, for us to celebrate 20 years of ROCK HARD GREECE in a two-day festival in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens. Joining them will be Conceptionmusic & friends (to be announced soon), The Crypt Roy Khan with Tore Ostby of Gus G in a unique acoustic show exclusively for VIP ticket holders, and 8 more bands to be announced in the coming weeks!!!"

Though perhaps most importantly, Marcolin also starred in the absolutely classic metal music video for "Bewitched". Relive that glory below alongside some of Candlemass' live performances with Marcolin over the years. The guy is unreal.

Ticketing information is available here via Rock Hard Greece's website.
