Some sad news to report. If you had tickets to see Gojira this week, the band had to cancel their gigs. Tragically, the band had to cancel due to a death in the Duplantier family, namely Joe and Mario's mother. The band posted the following message:
“We are deeply saddened to report that the brothers Joe and Mario Duplantier’s mother passed away last night. As a result, Gojira will be postponing their upcoming performances this week in Luxembourg July 6th, Martigny July 7th, and Prattein July 8th.
Best efforts will be made to reschedule these dates, and refunds will be available at point of purchase. We sincerely thank all of you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.”
What an immense bummer. Our deepest condolences to Gojira during this very difficult time. This just reminded me I need to call my mom.
