Compton, CA, Sheriff’s Deputy Miguel Garcia and his partner were wrapping up a recent investigation when they heard local garage metal band Misled Youth jamming. You might thing the next part of the story is Garcia telling the band to keep the noise down or arresting them, but nope. After confirming no crime had been comitted, Garcia and his parter went over to watch, one thing led to another, and Garcia ended up playing "The Kids Aren't Alright" by The Offspring with the band! (Yes, we know The Offspring wouldn't be considered metal. Calm down.)
One of the members of the band decided to grab some footage. The clip went viral when it was shared by the local Sheriff's department, with the caption "After receiving a call for service in the area, Compton Sheriff's Station's Deputy Garcia and his partner heard loud music coming from a residential neighborhood in Compton. Deputy Garcia and his partner introduced themselves to the young members of this backyard band. After identifying no crime had been committed, Deputy Garcia took the time to play a few songs with the kids, displaying a more human side of law enforcement." Here's the original video:
