Kevin Beaudette, I hope your friends never let you live this down. Last Tuesday, the 22 year old injured himself trying to sneak in to see Nickelback's Saratoga Springs, NY show. He apparently slipped and fell down a creek embankment near Nickelback's merch booth. According to Times Union, he was either drunk enough, or hurt enough, that the Saratoga Springs Fire Department had to rescue the guy after the venue's medical crews couldn't get to him.Â
"[Last Tuesday] an individual who appeared to be intoxicated, and who was outside the venue, apparently lost his footing and slipped down the embankment that runs along SPAC's Route 50 parking lot," SPAC President Marcia White said in a written statement.
He ended up falling about 40 feet, and they had to use one of those basket things to retrieve him. Someone please tell me there is video. Some merch guy must have been watching.
"This guy was acting on his own in a highly intoxicated state near a gorge," said Dan Keefe, a spokesman for the state office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
He went to a hospital in Albany, where he was treated for his minor injuries and released. No one filed charges, but that doesn't take away from the eternal shame that Mr. Beaudette will forever carry. LOL.
