It's Thursday and I'm really excited because I get to see Gojira in a small venue tonight. Meanwhile, a large amount of new music was released into the wild, so it's time for another audio roundup…
Sylosis have unleashed two new beastly tracks from their upcoming release, Monolith. You can hear "Born Anew" on their Facebook page and "A Dying Vine" on their official site. Both are great metal/metalcore tracks and are getting me really excited for this album, which is set to be released on October 9th.
For something completely different, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton released a country track called "Maybe." It sounds nothing like Lamb of God. You can download it for free here.
For something a little slower and groovier, the new Enslaved song is tits. You can stream "Thoughts Like Hammer" over at NPR from their album RIITIIR out October 9th on Nuclear Blast.
Time to slow it down with some melodic death from Swallow The Sun. The title track from their forthcoming release, Emerald Forest and the Blackbird can be heard here. The album is out September 4 on Spinefarm.
For something a little djentier, check out the new Monuments track "Degenrate," from their album Gnosis out September 25th.
