Enough with the crappy bootlegs, let's get srs here. Between The Buried And Me announced their new album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence and everybody was dying to hear a track. The band started playing "Telos" live, but you can't fully appreciate BTBAM through the lens of a shitty cell phone cam. Today, their label, Metal Blade has posted an official studio stream of the lead "single" and you can hear it above. Does it rule? Depends. Have you liked BTBAM's output in the last few years? If so, then you will love this next step in their musical progression. It's as proggy as BTBAM gets, and includes some nice heavyness as well. It's a really sweet track. But, if you've never liked BTBAM, this might not sway you in their direction.
I saw these guys play at the Summer Slaughter kick-off last Friday in LA and they were amazing. Check out my interview with Tommy and Paul, who discussed the new album, as well as a cameo Tommy's new baby boy on the album.
