Dream Theater will be releasing its double album The Astonishing on January 29 via Roadrunner, and honestly I think a lot of Dream Theater fans are pretty nervous about the record. Is it going to be an overblown theatrical wankfest? Will it be the band's masterpiece? What the hell is the album even about, anyway? Oh, and I have personally heard the whole record front to back. You have nothing to worry about as far as this record being any sort of "bad" at all. Trust me. It might take you a few listens to really digest the whole thing, but it's worth!
