Former W.A.S.P. Guitarist Chris Holmes' Sequel To Infamous Pool Interview Is Just As Sad, But For Different Reasons

I've spent plenty of time writing about former WASP guitarist Chris Holmes. Some might say too much time. You may remember Holmes blamed black culture on ruining heavy metal, which is why he sold his piece-of-shit car and moved to France. In the process, he created the best/worst music video of 2015, "Born Work Die," actually two if you also count the equally amazing "Let It Roar." He tried to pitch a reality show on his move to France, but I can't imagine anybody watching the sizzle reel and wanting to buy the show.

Holmes' most infamous moment is of course his interview in the classic 1988 documentary, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years. If you somehow never saw him being interviewed, while drunk, with his mother watching from the deck, it's something else:

Fast-forward to today, and Duke TV released an interview that was staged to be a sequel of sorts to the original interview. Holmes, now allegedly sober (hey, good for him), still looks equally as depressing in his answers:

Your time would be better spent listening to the Livecast's running audio commentary of The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years.
