Mondays suck. Death metal doesn't. So let's start the week off by checking out a recently-released death metal album. And if you need more, check out all the previous editions of Death Metal Monday here.
Eight years after their demo, Negative Vortex has finally arrived with their debut album Tomb Absolute. The album spans everything from driving Morbid Angel-styled double bass riffing to more miserable death doom aspect reminiscent of Autopsy. Throw in some vocals that sound like the tortured screams of someone who last moments are spent being sucked into an actual vortex, and you've got Tomb Absolute. It's brutal.
Tomb Absolute features guest spots from Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath), Kam Lee (Massacre), Moyses Koslene (Krisiun), Leon del Muerte (Impaled), Vik (Whipstriker), and Caleb Bingham (Athanasia). Tomb Absolute is available here.
