Get Weird with Avant-Garde Mathcore Masters MELTED BODIES' Debut Enjoy Yourself

Melted Bodies

In the late 90's and early 2000's, the metal community opened the floodgates, allowing for the strange and peculiar to flourish. Groups like System of a Down, Dog Fashion Disco, Faith No More, Melvins, and The Dillinger Escape Plan fused genres and presented heavy music in an experimental manner that pushed the envelope while simultaneously catching the attention of the weirdos.

Although more metal bands revolving around compelling genre-fusion have continued to pop up over the years, not many have matched the shocking, yet aesthetically pleasing and provoking approach of the aforementioned acts. Melted Bodies stands out as an exception. The Los Angeles-based project crams mathcore, synth pop, 90's alternative, indie, and more into a cohesive musical cocktail for their debut LP Enjoy Yourself. Lathered in sarcasm, tongue in cheek sociopolitical commentary, and caffeinated energy, this record is a true riot.

We're excited to be premiering the full album stream here on Metal Injection. Get funky, wacky, zany, and kooky through the Bandcamp player below. If you're intrigued, be sure to also tune into the band's unique live stream performance tonight (Thursday, September 17th) on Twitch at 9pm PST here (https://twitch.tv/superchief) and pre-order a physical copy of the LP here.
