While Rob has written about Kyng before, I was unfamiliar. Initially I was going to write this off as just another The Sword-type band, but upon listening to only the first few tracks I'm sold on Kyng's brand of rock and roll. There's a lot of really interesting riffs going on atop amazing, seriously cool drumming. So no- Kyng aren't your run-of-the-mill throwback rock band. Kyng are actually doing something sick here and it's worth your time!
