Concrete is about to make your week one hundred times heavier with their new record Free Us From Existence. The album takes Concrete's usual hardcore sound and infuses it with more death metal influence, for a final result that's nothing short of pummeling. Conceptually, the band said the new record is about the degradation of humanity through utter indifference.
"We focused a lot on the negativity and disintegration of humanity in various forms from our seemingly unbreakable addiction to the internet and social media, to the self-destruction of humanity through hatred and lies and the apparent indifference to it all."
Free Us From Existence was produced, engineered, and mixed by Shane Frisby and Pete Rutcho of The Brick Hit House (Revocation, Bury Your Dead). Shout out to No Echo for the premiere, and make sure you pre-order Free Us From Existence here before its August 7 release.
