Given an entire 24 hours, I guarantee you that you couldn't find every single awesome release nobody's ever heard of on Bandcamp from 2016. We definitely scroll through from time to time, and today we've managed to pull out a gem. Ontario's sludgy Hammerhands released Largo Forte in September, and nobody including us had any idea. So let's fix that, right?
To put it simply, Largo Forte is an Intronaut-style of heaviness that sounds like it was recorded live in one take in the studio. There's no bullshit or silly gimmicks when it comes to this album – it's just a gigantic record that practically begs you to turn the volume all the way the fuck up. Also, it's called Largo Forte! Largo meaning slow, and forte meaning loud, which is true about the album on both accounts.
So yeah, grab the album here or below, and give the dudes a like on Facebook.
