A few weeks ago, Jeff Loomis announced he's working on heavier, more "death metal" type material for his next album. I was excited at this prospect, and now we have our first taste via the above live bootleg, and it sounds pretty crushing. You can catch Loomis perform this song live on his current tour with The Contortionist. [via MetalSucks]
