Alright, so there's a band called Goblin Cock and they've been around since 2005. The band hasn't released anything since 2009, though that's getting rectified this year and we simple cannot let it go unnoticed. The band's new album, Necronomidonkeykongimicon, is due out this Friday via Joyful Noise and it's not what I expected at all.
Having a name like Goblin Cock sounds like it'll be some stupid parody band, but upon first listen, the band delivers Floor-esque rock and roll tuned way further up. Also, if you're a Pinback fan, the mysterious frontman Lord Phallus is actually Pinback frontman Rob Crow, Jr., who has a great voice.
