Carnifex came right out of the gate introducing its new record Slow Death with a song titled "Drown In Blood," which frankly was my favorite thing the group had ever done. Now there's a followup track titled "Six Feet Closer To Hell," and it's still pretty solid, though there's a lot less of that blackened symphonic feel than its predecessor. On that same thought, if you're a fan of the albums before Slow Death, I think you're going to like this one a whole lot.
Slow Death is out August 5 via Nuclear Blast and you can pre-order the effort here.
