LORNA SHORE Gets Blackened And Technical On Its New Song, "Denounce The Light"

There's a lot going on in here, and all of it rules.

There's a lot going on in here, and all of it rules.

Lorna Shore will be releasing its new album Flesh Coffin on February 17 via Outerloop Records, and has chosen us to premiere the new song "Denounce The Light."

Initially I thought the song was going to be some seriously heavy blackened death metal. Then things took a turn for the technical, there was a killer breakdown, and in the end I just enjoyed the hell out of the track despite having no idea what to label it. Just listen and I'm sure you'll feel the same!

Here's what Lorna Shore's Adam De Micco had to say about the track.

"It was about having a simple and digestible song structure, but making sure the content within that structure was interesting to both the musician as well as everyday fan.” Lyrically, this song is about someone calling forth into the universe offering their life (because they're dying) so they can live again at any means necessary."

Lorna Shore will be playing a special showcase with Chasing Safety, Youth in Revolt, and Megosh tomorrow, Nov. 17th at the Studio at Webster Hall in NYC. Tickets available here.
