Asphalt Graves consists of Misery Index and ex-Dying Fetus vocalist and bassist Jason Netheron, ex-Black Dahlia Murder drummer Shannon Lucas, and guitarists Brent Purgason, who you might know better as Pustulus Maximus in Gwar, and Adam Feris of War Torn.
Stereogum recently premiered the debut song from the group, which you can hear below, and was told by the group that its upcoming album is "modern take on the classic death/grind of the 1990s." So really fucking heavy and uncompromisingly fast, right?
