Metal Allegiance is the brainchild of Mark Menghi, who formed an all-star band with Mike Portnoy on drums, Testament's Alex Skolnick on guitar and David Ellefson of Megadeth on bass. They are releasing their debut album that has some interesting collaborators on each track, which reads like a who's who of metal all-stars.
Today, the first single has been released. It features a guest solo from Machine Head's Phil Demmel and vocals by Testament's Chuck Billy. With the new Testament album not coming out until at least 2016, this is as close to a new Testament song as we can get right now, and it's A+++
