Sounds dirty, doesn't it? Good. That means you're reading this and now I've got you. Come on in and jam some new Scale the Summit while you're here!
I'm glad this is a little bit of a different fare than what we're used to with the band. While it's usually all soaring melodies and guitar work out the ass, this song manages to breathe a little bit and follow a natural flow. There's less show-offiness about it and a little more musicality… which, y'know, thank the gods for that one. The Migration as a whole isn't too bad either- a lot more stuff like this than you'd expect. This is a good example of what's to come. If you've stayed away from the band due to the overall boringness of their previous ventures, then this is a solid starting point to dig their work. That's how it's worked out for me anyway.
