Black Heart Sutra is a brand new group out of NYC, featuring Jessica Pimentel of Orange Is The New Black and her band Alekhine's Gun, Earl Maneein of the incredible Seven)Suns, and Kenny Grohowski of Imperial Triumphant, Secret Chiefs 3 and many more.
Together, the trio embarks on a path of creating chaotically sharp and twisted passages mixed with elements of dark grooves, and furious progression. Whether you're deeply into progressive jazz, or simply have a love for the A.D.D. twists of The Locust-like moments in music, Black Heart Sutra is here for ya.
