February 26th will see the release of Ordinance’s second full-length album The Ides of March. Should you need a refresher of why you may want to be excited, Ordinance features vocalist Mike Semesky (Rest Among Ruins, Raunchy, ex-HAARP Machine), drummer Alex Rudinger (Good Tiger, Conquering Dystopia), guitarist Greg Macklin (ex-Jeff Loomis live), and Gunter Ostendorp also on guitar.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s Internal Monologues has these lads from Maryland at their techiest, their heaviest, yet not their most melodic (though there’s melody to be had). So, those looking for fifteen shift kicks to the teeth should be pretty stoked for the full record. To tide you over until then the guys gave us at Metal Injection the last sample of the record with “Bloodwine.”
Remember: pinkies out and heads banging as you listen below.
