I am completely floored by the awesomeness that is the new Testament track. "True American Hate" can be streamed above, and comes off the band's upcoming release, Dark Roots of the Earth out July 31st on Nuclear Blast Records. The track sounds like a monster, epic leads, epic riffs, killer drumming by Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan and some awesome vocals. The band worked with legendary British producer Andy Sneap on the record. As for the meaning of "True American Hate", frontman Chuck Billy elaborates in a recent issue of Decibel:

"[It] was kind of inspired by when we sent all our troops overseas, and we were just seeing in the news when all that was going on a lot of young kids, under 10 years old, out there with their families burning American flags. And that was a pretty shocking thing to see, to see that generation, a kid that young being taught to hate that much. It makes you think what's going to happen, 10 to 15 years from now, when the majority of these kids have just been raised to hate. It struck me as a little odd."

It is always scary to see so much hatred in youth, whether it be abroad or here in the US. Anyway, I'm pumped for new Testament!
