The Headless Ritual is a throwback into the classic days of death metal and the world is better off for it. Any questions?
No more than 20 seconds into the opening track "Slaughter at Beast House" does it take to realize that Autopsy are not fucking around with The Headless Ritual. Everything about this record screams classic death metal, and not in the cheesy way where it's more nostalgia than it is actual substance. No. The Headless Ritual belongs in the 90's, but somehow found its way to 2013. Which is in no way a bad thing.
