The tour of the summer for me was going to be Rage Against the Machine and Run The Jewels. While the tour has tentatively been moved to next year, I give credit to DJ Skarface for creating a pretty awesome mixtape that is absolutely holding me over (for now.)
Skarface mixed up beats and samples from both groups, as well as putting Zach's vocals over Run The Jewels beats and vice versa.
The Rage The Jewels mixtape is almost 15 minutes of solid jams. El-P of Run The Jewels saw the news and responded "Oh shit."
Skarface writes on the mixtape description "While you’re here, you should should consider donating to the National Lawyers Guild."
