Tobias Forge's First Unmasked Video Interview Discusses GHOST's Future, Next Album & More

"I know what the next album will be sort of like."

"I know what the next album will be sort of like."

Ghost frontman and usual religious character Tobias Forge sat down with iHeartRadio for a pretty elongated interview that covers everything from the band's current tour to the next Ghost record.

Forge, dressed like he's a gothic Inigo Montoya or something, says he knows what the band's next record will be but has no definitive plans for making it right now.

"I know basically what we're doing practically until the end of the cycle, what we're hoping to achieve. I know what the next album will be sort of like. I don't have the record here, I can't play it to you, but I have one album inside that I want to create. And then I have [a] quite solid idea of what I want to do for that live show in the future. But longer than that, you know, who knows?"

Watch the full interview below. All we know right now about the band's plans for 2019 is that there's some sort of new release coming that's already been recorded and maybe a live album.

"Rite Here Rite Now is a mostly comprehensive and extremely enjoyable—but slightly pointless—complement to Ghost's first film."
