Tosin Abasi Played On A Jazz Singer KELELA's New Jam And It's Gorgeous

It's barely a secret that Animals as Leaders founder Tosin Abasi knows a thing or two about jazz music. His work exudes a seriously jazzy vibe despite being heavy for the most part and the stuff that isn't heavy is basically trippy jazz music to begin with. So yeah, Jazz Jazzbasi knows jazz.

Now he's teamed up with singer Kelela for her new track "Enemy" and it's pretty much flawless.

Kelela has one hell of a voice and Abasi knows damn well what's up with laying back int big chords underneath all her vocal acrobatics. If there were an album of this, I'd buy ten.

The two have collaborated before as Kelela contributed vocals to Abasi's one-off T.R.A.M. album, which we captured footage of at their sole performance at SXSW a few years ago. Kelela also contributed a vocal part to the Animals As Leaders track "Behaving Badly," which you can watch below…
