Trap Them are one of the few hardcore bands that not only keep my interest, but have such an instantly identifiable sound that I can't help but love them. We've heard a few tracks now off their upcoming album Blissfucker and thus far I've been impressed… as usual. Hell, even our reviewers love it. Fortunately their third track "Lungrunner," which you can hear streaming over at Pitchfork, keeps tradition for the album. Just like the songs we've heard so far, "Lungrunner" doesn't get tangled up in complex rhythms and big chords. It's punk-fucking-rock with a disgusting, grimy edge that only wants to slit your throat wide open.
Blissfucker will naughty up your bliss come June 10 via Prosthetic.
