We've seen many bands put their branding on an alcoholic beverage, be it Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Behemoth, Mastodon or even Slayer. August Burns Red bassist Dustin Davidson decided to take a more DIY approach when crafting a new August Burns Red-branded beer… he decided to do it all in his garage. Davidson and his childhood friend Garrett Delaney are avid homebrewers and plan to open a nano brewery in 2016.
Dustin created a home brewery to craft a special rye-based IPA named after their upcoming album, Found In Far Away Places. To celebrate the album title, Dustin acquired hops from all over the country to make this limited edition beer. The band were so into it, they even printed custom pint glasses which are available with pre-orders of the new album.
Sadly, the beer was a special limited release to celebrate the album and it won't be for public sale, but it sure looks pretty:
