Justin Bieber's metal phase continues rolling forward. He's been wearing Metallica shirts a lot, rocking Iron Maiden tees, lipsyncing Ozzy Osbourne tunes, and even hanging out with Anthrax's Frankie Bello. In March, he posted a selfie with shock rocker Marilyn Manson sparking a new friendship.
Bieber, currently out on his "Purpose" world tour, even released a line of tour merch designed by famed metal artist Mark Riddick, featuring clear inspiration from the metal world. Now Bieber has taken it another step forward by releasing a limited edition shirt which is basically just a re-purposed Manson shirt.
The shirt is exclusively available at high-end retailer Barneys New York for the low low price of $195. The description claims this collection "includes exclusive styles inspired by the star’s blockbuster show as well as looks worn by the multitalented performer on stage" and that this overpriced shirt is "part of a selection of highly coveted items inspired by Justin Bieber’s world tour."
Ironically, you can get the same exact shirt minus the Bieber logo, for $17 at Hot Topic.
Who is going to pay $195 for a shirt like this? Probably the same person that wears a skirt with jeans (as seen in the Barney's promo photo for this item).
