The last few months of 2014 were not kind to Creed frontman Scott Stapp. He was holed up in a Holiday Inn with no cash, after being put under psychiatric hold for allegedly saying he was a CIA operative sent to kill Obama. After skipping a recent court appearance, Stapp lost full custody of his kids.
Stapp was not in a good place, but after mid-December, he went off the radar. Turns out Scott was getting some much needed help at a rehab facility. Loudwire recently spoke to Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti who revealed Stapp had just completed rehab:
“Thank God he got through it all and his family got him into treatment. I think he went through a 90-day program. I know he went to get help and now he’s out of the treatment, so hopefully he stays sober.”
As much as I greatly dislike Creed, I would never wish any ill will upon a person, so it's great to hear Scott got the help he needed. Hopefully it will stick.
