You might remember all the way back in 2009 Metallica issued an alert for missing fan, Morgan Dana Harrington, who was last seen attending their concert in Charlottesville, VA. Months later, her body was found and murder was the expected cause of death. Metallica went on to campaign a reward for any information on her killer. Unfortunately, the case seemed to go no where, until now.
Virginia's Tony Foresta (Municipal Waste / Iron Reagan) just called to tip me off that his local news is going nuts over the arrest of Jesse Matthew. The man being charged with the September 13th disappearance of UVA student Hannah Graham. With Jesse Matthew in custody, Virginia police have successfully linked him to the forensic evidence surrounding the murder of Morgan Dana Harrington on the night of the Metallica concert.
Our thoughts are with the victim’s families as the investigation continues.
