Evanescence's music video for "Bring Me To Life" has hit 1 billion views on YouTube. The song is from the band's 2003 debut album Fallen and was uploaded to YouTube in December 2009. The single itself has achieved 3x Platinum status in the US with over 3 million sales, and has achieved 2x Platinum status in the UK with over 1.2 million sales. "Bring Me To Life" also won a GRAMMY for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004.
As for Fallen, that record has sold over 7 million copies in the United States. So yeah – not exactly shocking that the video has hit 1 billion plays. "Bring Me To Life" joins the ranks of videos like "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica, and "Chop Suey!" by System Of A Down.
