Yes, it's that time of the year again. The time where Kerrang! publishes a list and then everyone gets mad about it. This time around, they've named the 50 best metal bands of the decade. The main rule was that your debut album had to be released in the last decade, so don't expect to see your Slayers and Lamb of Gods and Panteras on here.
Overall it's a pretty solid list (that you can read in full with explanations here), though a few bands I personally would've put on there are Whores, Magic Circle, Bell Witch, Haunt, and Anciients. Here are the rankings:
