Canadian Blames MOTLEY CRUE's "Kickstart My Heart" For Speeding Ticket

I guess if you're rocking out in your car, make sure to stay within the speed limit.

I guess if you're rocking out in your car, make sure to stay within the speed limit.

I have never tried to fight a parking ticket – just pay it and move along with your life, I say! But one Canadian tried to place the blame on Motley Crue's shoulders.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba report they pulled a man over for driving 145km/h (that's about 90 mph) and when they questioned the driver, he tried to place the blame on Motley Crue's signature song  “Kickstart My Heart.”

“This driver’s excuse for going 145kmh? Kickstart my Heart by Mötley Crüe was on the radio. Funny enough, our officer knew he was telling the truth, since he was also listening to it – just at a much slower & safer speed. Fined $639. #noexcuses#AlwaysGotTheCopsComingAfterMe“

Jeez, a $639 fine for speeding seems intense.

I guess if you're rocking out in your car, make sure to stay within the speed limit.
