Back in April 2016, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme was videoed berating autograph seeker Jason Leckrone, who Homme felt was being rude. Homme stated he suspected that Leckrone was trying to get autographs to sell on eBay, and Leckrone accused Homme of essentially not appreciating the fans who were paying for tickets and his music. TMZ reported on the whole thing at the time, and the video from them is still available at the bottom of this post.
Now Leckrone is suing Homme, TMZ for posting the footage, Warner Bros. Entertainment, The Museum Of Contemporary Art in Detroit, MI, EHM Productions Inc., and the Richard and Jane Manoogian Foundation,. His suit against Homme is for the verbal assault, and who he claims “intentionally and physically grabbed him around the shoulder area.”
His suit against TMZ claims “the publication of these remarks has resulted in damage to plaintiff’s reputation in the community and economic loss, including, but not limited to, the following: a. emotional distress b. humiliation, mortification, and embarrassment c. sleeplessness and anxiety.”
According to Courthouse News, Leckrone is seeking a total of $25,000.
