Randy Blythe seemed to be having a wonderful 2015, with his new book and a new Lamb of God album, but things have taken a slight downturn for the metal titan.
According to the Irish Mirror publication, Blythe was jumped by five men just outside Dublin.
"The Virginia rocker claimed that they ran up to him from behind and punched him in the back of the head.
The 44-year-old alleged that one of the scumbags shouted: 'Welcome to Dublin' during the ordeal."
I guess that's mature of the guys who jumped him? Some people are just dickheads. In true fashion of not seeming to give a shit, Blythe essentially shook the whole ordeal off and even made a pretty solid statement about it at the band's show later in Dublin's 3Arena.
"He dedicated their hit '512,' he sent a message to his alleged attackers.
Blythe said: 'This is for the five kids who jumped me, I hope you get your f**king heads kicked in.'"
In related news, nothing has been said about Blythe's injuries after being attacked, so I'm led to assume he's fine! He posted the following on Instagram:
