Tool originally released their art piece titled Fetus In Skull, which is a clear skull containing a human fetus designed by longtime Tool artist Alex Grey, back in December. Now Tool is back with a new Fetus In Skull and apparently it's 1:1 scale (as opposed to the half size of the original).
You can sorta see how big the skull is in the below teaser, though without any frame of reference it's a little difficult. The skull will be available on Tool's website store come March 24.
"The Fetus in Skull Life-Size Sculpture is a beautiful and unique piece of artwork capturing realistic details in full 1:1 presentation," said Tool in a statement. "Serving as a larger, more finished, version of the previously released Maquette study."
As far as live Tool goes, they've been announced for the Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals. There's also a potential Tool tour brewing for later this year, though all we've heard about that is from drummer Danny Carey in a video snippet: "Thank you, I appreciate your time and thoughts, and I hope to see you on the road in 2023," he said. "We have a big tour coming in the fall and a few festivals in the summertime."
