Iron Maiden’s plane from their lengthy 2008-2009 tour has been made scaled down and replicated as a small collector’s model. Any manic fans of the seminal band will want to own this immediately.
Maiden’s Somewhere Back in Time Tour for their greatest-hits album of the same name was epic enough to merit a film about it, Iron Maiden: Flight 666, as previously reported, and now it will merit a model airplane. The Boeing jet used for the tour and featured in the documentary, given the sobriquet “Ed Force One,” is on a 1:110 scale and carved from mahogany. The model goes for $175 on ModelBuffs.com.
