Ken Owen, Carcass' original drummer who played with the band between 1986 and 1996, is auctioning off his Pearl Export Series. The kit was used to record Necroticism – Descanting The Insalburious, Tools Of The Trade, and Heartwork, as well as live gigs between 1990 and 1993.
The auction notes that the kit is being auctioned off for Ken to buy a new computer to enable him to carry on creating music.
The kit also comes with a framed certificate of authenticity signed by Owen, a framed photo of Owen signing said certificate, a framed photo of Owen with the kit, and a framed Carcass shirt worn by Owen in the photo.
The drum kit does not come with Owen's incredible drumming abilities heard on those albums. So you're just going to have to practice more.
