KnuckleBonz has made a name for themselves making figurines of famous rock and metal stars, and now they're trying something a little different. KnuckleBonz and Ozzy Osbourne have collaborated to create a 3D Vinyl version of Ozzy's 1981 album Diary of a Madman this fall, which according to the product description does not actually contain a record.
Here's what KnuckleBonz CEO and creative director Tony Simerman had to say about the product.
"I still remember how excited I was to get this album so close after he released Blizzard Of Oz; two such metal classics rarely happen that close together. Ozzy's stance on this album makes this a perfect subject to create in a 3D vinyl collectible. His '80s madness is coming right at you. This one really shows the creative potential of this new collectible category, I think."
The Ozzy Osbourne (Diary of a Madman) 3D Vinyl stands 12" x 12" and weighs five pounds. There are only 1,981 of the piece being made, a nod at the album's year of release, and you can own for $249 here.
