Clutch has unveiled the next installment of The Weathermaker Vault Series and for the second time it's a cover of their own material. Clutch has re-recorded their 2003 track "Willie Nelson," which originally appeared on the 2003 compilation Slow Hole to China: Rare and Unreleased.
"Willie Nelson is a song we wrote close to 20 years ago," said vocalist Neil Fallon. "It started making appearances in our sets recently, so we figured now was a good time to re-record it. This time around Shawna Potter (War On Women) added back up vocals. And for what it’s worth, 'Red Headed Stranger' gets regular play on our tour bus."
The first time Clutch re-recorded their own material is when they did their 1995 track "Spacegrass."
