Roadrunner Records just announced its newest signing – LA industrial band Contracult Collective. Comprised of members Svart and Cultprit, the duo are pushing the boundaries of metal and helping to usher a new wave of industrial music in the heavy rock scene.
The band notes “We’ve worked harder than we ever have in our lives with Roadrunner on this to create the band we needed to exist. This is for the true freaks.”
Today, they released two singles. The first is a complete reimagining of the classic Hole track "Violet" and the other is an original song, called “Hogtied.”
The band promise a full-length album later this year, and have a huge live show scheduled for February 1st in Los Angeles, CA at The Echo. Follow them on Facebook.
