CROSSES (DEFTONES, FAR) Streams GEORGE MICHAEL Cover

As they seem to do every Christmas.

Crosses

Crosses is keeping up the tradition of dropping a cover song in December with their rendition of George Michael's 1987 single "One More Try." Crosses' 2021 cover was "Goodbye Horses" originally by Q Lazzarus, and 2020 saw the band covering "The Beginning Of The End" by Cause And Effect. You can check those out below as well.

In a recent interview, Crosses vocalist Chino Moreno and instrumentalist Shaun Lopez detailed their quiet split with bassist Chuck Doom. Doom performed on the band's 2014 self-titled album, but was noticeably absent from promo photos when the band returned.

"To be honest, and without being dramatic or bad mouthing people, as it went on, me and Chuck just… He was going this way, I was going that way, and Chino was caught in the middle," said Lopez. "I think Chuck wanted to do his solo thing and involve Chino, which kind of meant he wanted to do Crosses without me. Which is just fucking comedy. If I'm gonna get on my Liam Gallagher vibe for a minute (laughs) it's like, 'Come on, bro, are you kidding me?' Anytime I would get together with Chuck to make some new tunes, something had seriously changed in the vibe.
