Stoner doom metallers Elephant Tree is offering us a glimpse into their sonic journey with the release of the single "Visions (The Planet Of Doom)". The track is part of their upcoming compilation, Handful Of Ten, which features a mix of rare tracks, b-sides, and two fresh songs.
Guitarist and vocalist Jack Townley reflected on the significance of the song, stating:
"This has been a long time coming for us. It really captures where we were as a band in between the self-titled and ‘Habits‘ albums. It was a cool project to be a part of and it is a shame that the animated Planet of Doom film for which the song was written has yet to see a release. It also features our good friend Ryan 'Biscuit' Gledhill, who provided those crushing vocals at the end. He acts all big and scary but really he is like a little fluffy cow."
The release of Handful Of Ten coincides with new reissues of the band's earlier works, Theia and Habits. All three will be available via Magnetic Eye Records on September 6th, with pre-orders now open here.
